A King (played by Andy Lau) was arrested years ago for cheating, but in fact, he was framed. When he was released from prison, he was welcomed by a long-time admirer, Hua Gu Long (played by Daniel Wu), who is someone that does nothing all day and hopes to accomplish something by following King. After getting out of prison, King searches for his pregnant wife (played by Zhang Huiyi) and his trusted assistant from back then (played by Zhang Jincheng). Later, King develops feelings for Hua Gu Long's sister, Qing (played by Athena Chu). King receives help from Rocky (played by Ng Chi Hung) to board a gambling ship, where he encounters Ma Jiaowen (played by Gao Jie), whom he has wanted to face off against for many years. King wants to prove himself against Ma Jiaowen, but he is betrayed by Ma Jiaowen's henchman, Sheng Jing (played by Li Zixiong), who reveals King's secrets and further aims to harm him.
