The ancient ancestor of fate, Yun Yuan (played by Wang Wei), is a celestial being in charge of the fate of Jinhe Village in the mortal world. Dissatisfied with the insufficient worship, he sends the magic box down to the mortal realm, forcing the common people to worship day and night.
