In the 1930s, the Shanghai Changfu Circus, famous for its aerial acrobatics, was touring everywhere, facing numerous challenges along the way. During one performance, Japanese planes dropped bombs, destroying all the circus's facilities. Although the troupe members narrowly escaped, with the country in peril, they had to go their separate ways.
