The origin of the story is at a super platinum academy, founded by the four great families to cultivate excellent descendants. Thus, the F4, being the heirs of the four families (played by Yan Chengxu as Dao Ming Si, Zhou Yumin as Hua Ze Lei, Zhu Xiaotian as Xi Men, and Wu Jianhao as Mei Zuo), holds a significant position in the school. From kindergarten, elementary school, high school to university, no one dares to challenge these four domineering boys until she appears, disrupting this seemingly well-controlled situation. She—Mu Ye Shan Cai (played by Xu Xiyuan), an ordinary girl, comes here carrying her parents' dream (played by Dong Zhicheng as Shan Cai's father and Wang Yue as Shan Cai's mother) for her to rise like a phoenix. When her friend Li Zhen (played by Ye Anting) accidentally angers Dao Ming Si, the leader of F4, and triggers Shan Cai to stand up for her friendship, a love-hate relationship with F4 begins. The red notice of expulsion from F4 inevitably lands on Shan Cai, and her classmates scatter like birds and beasts, even her friend Li Zhen hides aside, too afraid to speak out. This school really has no law; Shan Cai works hard to earn money to buy a motorcycle, which either gets a flat tire or gets dismantled. Trash doesn't stay in the trash bin but falls on Shan Cai's head. Friends don’t help each other but attempt to harm her. Shan Cai can no longer tolerate it; she wants to resist, she wants to teach those four pig heads a lesson, and she wants their red notice. Who is afraid of whom? Shan Cai's courage and determination are indeed different from other girls, and Dao Ming Si notices it, seemingly moved. He decides to have someone kidnap Shan Cai to his home, to give her the best skincare courses, hairstyle designs, and clothing supplies, with the intent of making Shan Cai submit to him. However, little does he know that Shan Cai, like a weed, is not easily swayed. Dao Ming Si is furious. Dao Ming Si's deliberate approach towards Shan Cai arouses serious jealousy among the girls who like him at school. They decide to humiliate Shan Cai properly, so they feign inviting her to a country dance. When Shan Cai arrives, she discovers it's a trap; this is not a country dance but a high-class banquet, and everyone is dressed formally. Lily (played by Bei Er) and Qianhui (played by Zhang Ruozhen), who pretend to be friends, are actually maliciously trying to make Shan Cai look foolish. No worries, Shan Cai, like a weed, will strike back. Although they couldn't get back at Shan Cai during the banquet, Lily and Qianhui decide to use Hua Ze Lei's love interest, Toudou Jing (played by Qian Wei Shan), to hurt Shan Cai because they know Shan Cai appears to have a slight crush on Hua Ze Lei among the F4. This retaliation is indeed successful, as Toudou Jing's return greatly impacts Shan Cai, especially when she witnesses Hua Ze Lei lost in thought in front of Toudou Jing's poster. Shan Cai really doesn't know what to do, and at that moment, Hua Ze Lei unexpectedly kisses her...
