However, during every forced trip to church with his wife, his attitude seemed to be gradually changing. One day, he suddenly announced to his family that he would be following a missionary to Sudan. The family was shocked but had no choice but to let him go, and this journey completely changed the trajectory of Sam's life. In the nights of Sudan, Sam was always awakened by the noise, as both old and young rushed in one direction; he then learned that this was because parents were trying to send their children to a safe place to sleep, as perhaps the village would not exist the next day. Deeply shaken, Sam decided to establish an orphanage there, but in an unstable environment and amidst the ruthless killings by enemies, protecting the orphanage would be far more difficult than building it; Sam's journey was just beginning...
