In the serene and solemn environment of the Silent Awareness Temple, Master Kongzhi (Liu Jiahui) is presiding over Buddhist studies and teaching a group of young monks to diligently practice martial arts for physical fitness. However, among them, the chubby and playful Qingliang is well-known for his mischievous character, and he ends up being punished by his master for being too engrossed in playing with a Game Boy. Frustrated, Qingliang plans to sneak into Master Kongzhi’s room to steal back the console, and his senior brother Qingxin (Liu Cica) helps him avoid getting scolded by their master. It turns out the two have long wished to explore the outside world, and by chance, Qingxin and Qingliang end up wandering in Hong Kong, where they encounter a female pickpocket named Money (Li Wan Hua). Seeing the little monk's impressive skills and that they have nowhere to stay, she decides to temporarily shelter them and teach them the art of pickpocketing, along with a neighbor kid named Baobao (Li Xiaotong) as they go out to make a living. However, the little monks' antics are filled with blunders, leading to many funny incidents. Soon, Master Kongzhi rushes to Hong Kong to search for the two, unaware that the secret of their possession of a large sum of money has leaked, attracting the attention of an underworld figure greedy for wealth, who plans to kidnap the little monks to force Master Kongzhi to hand over the money.
