In this episode, the brave investigator Chan Ka-ju (played by Jackie Chan) goes to the mainland disguised as a prisoner to infiltrate an international arms and drug smuggling group. With the help of the beautiful police officer Yang Jianhua (played by Michelle Yeoh), Ka-ju successfully approaches the imprisoned group member Leopard Cheung (played by Yuen Wah). Leopard regards Ka-ju as a trusted confidant and plans a jailbreak with him. To ensure a long-term plan, Ka-ju readily agrees. After they escape, Leopard suggests hiding out in the hometown that Ka-ju made up. Thanks to Yang Jianhua's prior arrangements, they manage to avoid revealing their true identities. Yang Jianhua claims to be Ka-ju's sister and accompanies them. They arrive in Hong Kong and meet the group's boss, Guai Ba, and successfully become part of the organization. Guai Ba takes his men to Kuala Lumpur to rescue his kidnapped wife and encounters Ka-ju's girlfriend, Ah Mei (played by Maggie Cheung). Unaware that Ka-ju is on a mission, Ah Mei suspects he is having an affair with Yang Jianhua. Her actions raise suspicions among the group members, leading to an imminent showdown!
