A mysterious group made up of retired veterans from special forces is accepting a mission from their employer in a warehouse on the outskirts of town. Each member possesses unique skills: Sam (played by Robert De Niro) is a former CIA officer, Vincent (played by Jean Reno) is a former European intelligence officer, Gregor (played by Stellan Skarsgård) is a German electronics expert, along with British weapons specialist Spence (played by Sean Bean) and driver Larry. The group is tasked with attacking an armed convoy and stealing a mysterious briefcase. After a series of intense chases and gunfights, they finally retrieve the briefcase, but unexpectedly, Gregor betrays the organization, making off with the briefcase and attempting to sell it to the Russians. However, during the subsequent attempts to retrieve the briefcase, betrayal seems to cast a curse over the group. Amid repeated heart-pounding chases and twists, the members find it increasingly difficult to distinguish friend from foe.
