This is the second episode of Beverly Hills Cop. Axel Foley (played by Eddie Murphy) returns to Detroit as a detective after solving a case in the previous episode, but soon finds himself bored out of his mind. So, each week, Axel goes fishing with his good friend and partner, Chief Bogomil (played by Ronny Cox) from the Los Angeles Police Department, whom he met while investigating there. However, this week, Bogomil cancels their fishing trip, and Axel later discovers that Bogomil is involved in a complex and dangerous case investigation. Unfortunately, Bogomil gets shot by criminals during the investigation and is now hospitalized. Axel, known for his loyalty and disdain for evil, cannot sit idly by, so he immediately goes to Los Angeles to enlist his best partner, Billy (played by Judge Reinhold), to help him take revenge for his friend.
