Pierre (played by Sammo Hung) uncovers a major drug trafficking case under the leadership of his superior, Ash (played by Takeshi Kaneshiro), and confiscates a large quantity of drugs, storing them as evidence at the police station. These drugs belong to a Japanese businessman named Yamamoto, who, in an effort to destroy the evidence and absolve himself, sends a group of outlaws to infiltrate the police station and retrieve the drugs. Ultimately, the drugs are stolen, but the police manage to capture one of the criminals. In a desperate move, the gang kidnaps Pierre's girlfriend, Rouching (played by Chingmy Yau), intending to exchange her for a hostage with the police. Frantic, Pierre seeks help from his colleague and friend, Wang Yuwen (played by Yuen Biao). Despite their previous misunderstandings, they develop a deep friendship through their time together. Pierre and Wang Yuwen, along with their team, delve deep into enemy territory and engage in a fierce duel with the criminals.
