On Christmas Eve, a scantily clad single woman appeared dazed in a hotel room on a high floor. She went out to the balcony and fell… Roger, a 50-year-old African American police officer played by Danny Glover, is in charge of the case and discovers that the woman who fell was the daughter of his partner, Mike, from the Vietnam War. After the war, these special forces exploited the existing drug trafficking networks to engage in large-scale drug dealing, and Mike was killed for interfering with the drug cartel's interests. Although Roger and Riggs have found a direction, it is clearly very difficult to dismantle the drug cartel.
