In the distant dark centuries, the descendants of Corvinus were divided into two. The blood tribe, led by Victor (played by Bill Nighy), roams the world independently, while the powerful vampire army suppresses the ferocious wolf tribe, which is highly contagious and unable to evolve into human form. Until one day, a miraculous life is born, changing the fate of these two families. A female wolf gives birth to Lucian (played by Michael Sheen), a werewolf with a human appearance. Victor sees the immense power within Lucian's body and begins to breed him extensively, making werewolves the slaves of the blood tribe. The suffering of the slaves seems endless, and throughout this process, Lucian complicates matters by secretly falling in love with Victor’s daughter, Sonja (played by Rhona Mitra). Desiring freedom, Lucian eventually manages to break free from Victor's control, and thus begins a war between the werewolves and the blood tribe that lasts for hundreds of years...
