Synopsis

Xu Jia's father has passed away. Xu Dinggui (played by Andy Lau), who is in the United States, returns to Hong Kong at the invitation of his uncle to inherit the estate. Xu Dinggui has a half-brother, Xu Dingfu, who is very dissatisfied with his brother coming to split the inheritance. Coincidentally, their uncle requires Dinggui to work for the company and insists that he performs well in order to successfully receive the inheritance. In order to monopolize the wealth, the hypocritical Dingfu deliberately brings in three notorious friends, who befriend Dinggui and lead him astray. Unexpectedly, these three friends not only fail to lead Dinggui astray, but the four of them become friends. Once they learn of Dingfu's scheme, they decide to team up against the despicable Dingfu.
