 Synopsis
The elegant Meishui (Liu Jialing), though just an ordinary cosmetics salesperson, is full of ambition. Whenever she encounters difficulties in life, thinking of her talented boyfriend Bill (Li Ming), who will surely achieve great success in the future, helps her regain confidence. However, Bill, although gifted in economic matters, has never found an opportunity; after years of hard work, he remains just an ordinary employee, which ultimately disappoints Meishui and drives her away from him. Years later, Bill becomes successful and has a girlfriend named Xueer (Shu Qi), a movie star, to confide in. When he and Meishui meet again in Tokyo, Bill realizes that he still deeply loves Meishui, but at this point, she is about to marry the underworld boss 'Brother Peace.' To avoid having regrets again, Bill sets aside Xueer and starts a romantic rivalry with 'Brother Peace,' yet he still cannot keep Meishui. In his moment of sorrow, Bill discovers that true love (Ann Lee) has always been right beside him.
