In a time of peace, Great Edo was a vibrant town where many people lived. Yuta (Riku Hagiwara), who is training as a blacksmith, wishes to be of help to others but is just an ordinary townsman with weak physical strength. One day at a steam bath endurance contest, he meets the town's inventor, Hiraga Gennai (Seiji Rokkaku). Gennai gives Yuta the 'Steam Power Armor', which multiplies the wearer's strength by dozens of times.
