The Mochizuki couple residing in a wealthy community live a life that others envy. Kohhei Mochizuki, played by Hidetaka Itō, comes from a poor background, but his wife, Mariya, played by Yoshino Kimura, comes from a wealthy family. After Mariya's parents passed away, they left behind a substantial inheritance, which Kohhei used to run a coffee shop. In daily life, Kohhei's food and care are entirely looked after by Mariya, who is thoughtful and even cares deeply for Kohhei's mother and sister from his hometown. Yet, despite being such a nearly perfect wife, her meticulous care begins to evoke growing resentment in Kohhei.
