In a mental hospital in Kobuchizawa, Nagano Prefecture, various patients burdened by heavy pasts reside. Among them is Hidetaka Kajiki, who was sentenced to death for murdering his mother and wife but survived the execution and gained immortality (played by Tsurube Shofukutei). There is also Cho, a former office worker who often experiences hallucinations leading to aggressive behavior, which has caused him to be distanced by his sister and her husband (played by Masaki Ayano). They are all individuals alienated by their families and society, yet actively facing everything and living strongly.
