1962. A young generation rebels against authority. Peace activist Eik Skaløe meets Iben and falls deeply in love with her, but Iben refuses to be loyal to just one man. Desperate, Eik tries to win her heart by transforming from a poet to a writer, a wanderer, a drug addict, and ultimately becoming the destined lead singer of the legendary band STEPPEULVENE.
