Ti Yuan (played by Sota Fukushi), a science major studying at a university, is a guy who only believes in science. On the first day of orientation, he encounters a strange girl but doesn’t think much of it. After attending the funeral of his classmate Yu Chuan Qian Li (played by Maki Hamada), he unexpectedly sees a man in a rabbit costume tussling with an old man on his way home at night. To his disbelief, the old man walks through a wall and disappears. It turns out the old man is a lingering spirit in the human world, and the pink rabbit is a grim reaper (played by Ryohei Suzuki) responsible for guiding spirits to the afterlife. The grim reaper is thrilled to discover that Ti Yuan can see him, so he tries to recruit him as a guide on the road to the underworld. The girl he met during orientation is actually his senior guide, A Kuma Sachi (played by Tao Tsuchiya). So, this awkward partnership awkwardly begins their job...
