On a sunny day, a young boy named Tim (played by Evan Bird) and his mother leave the cinema and take a taxi home. Little did they know they would encounter a serial killer driver, Bob (played by Vincent D'Onofrio), who kidnaps the mother and son to his residence. After brutally killing the mother, he spares Tim's life. Bob names him Rabbit and demands that Rabbit clean the house according to his orders, read missing persons news in the newspaper, and assist in dealing with the victims' corpses. Any discontent or attempt to escape results in severe beatings. Years pass, and Rabbit (played by Eamon Farren) grows up. His relationship with Bob is complex and harmonious, resembling a father-son bond built on mutual dependency and restraint, living a lonely existence in an isolated cabin... The film won the Best Actor Award (Vincent D'Onofrio) and a Special Jury Award at the 2012 Sitges–Catalonian International Film Festival.
