Yuan Shikai (played by He Jiajun) is devoted to a cult in his ambition to ascend the throne as emperor. The cult leader gifts him a jade ring to bless his success. However, Yuan Shikai gives the ring to the third princess, Shen Yu (played by Li Jiaxin), of the Fourth Prince, and plans to make her his empress. The cult leader orders Yuan Shikai to retrieve the ring. Meanwhile, Yang Jun (played by Andy Lau), a member of the revolutionary army, is hiding by Yuan Shikai's side and kidnaps Shen Yu to prevent Yuan's coronation. General Li (played by Liu Jiahui) then pursues Yang and Shen in Yuan Shikai's name. On the way, Yang Jun encounters Huang Qiying (played by Zheng Shaoqiu) at Baozhilin and entrusts the heavy responsibility of escorting Shen Yu to Huang Qiying and his son, the obsessed drunken boxing practitioner Huang Feihong (played by Ji Tiansheng). While escorting Shen Yu, Feihong is ambushed by a spy (played by Ren Dahua), leading to their car crashing into a winery owned by Ren Bo (played by Liu Jialiang). The drunken boxing master Ren Bo helps them escape but leaves them with work to make up for the losses at the winery, thus getting them involved in the conflict over the jade ring. Soon, General Li arrives with his troops, and a series of fierce battles ensue among the skilled fighters.
