The 2020 Miss Hong Kong Pageant (the 48th edition) was a beauty contest organized by Television Broadcasts Limited, with the slogan for that year being "Opposing Market Trends." It was one of the variety shows promoted by TVB Amazing Summer in 2020. The grand final took place on August 30, 2020, at Studio One of Tseung Kwan O Television City, sponsored by Sasha Cosmetics. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, no live audience was present on the night of the final (except for the judges and "star" reviewers). Meanwhile, many countries had travel restrictions, resulting in some overseas contestants being unable to come to Hong Kong. Ultimately, only two overseas contestants participated in this edition, including the champion,谢嘉怡 (from Scotland), and Zhang Yingyue (from Los Angeles), who was eliminated in the second round.
