By 2008, the eldest brother Akira (played by Kazunari Ninomiya) was working in a restaurant but refused to make the family’s traditional 'Lin's Rice Bowl' again for customers; the second brother Taisuke (played by Ryo Nishikido) and sister Shizuna (played by Erika Toda) shared a room in Tokyo. Their lives were a bit aimless, haunted by the traumatic incident and their childhood growing up together. As November approached and the lawsuit period for the case was nearing its end, the three siblings vowed to catch their parents' killer. Little did they know, the biggest miscalculation would come from the sister's romantic relationship.
