Maarten (played by Paul de Leeuw) lost his mother to breast cancer, and he and his sister Molly (played by Karina Smulders) have relied on each other since childhood, living a simple yet content life. However, unexpectedly, the little sister has grown up and suddenly proposes to move out and live with her boyfriend Teun (played by Teun Luijkx). Just when Maarten thinks he will spend the rest of his life with only the puppy that his best friend Reina sent him, the handsome Arthur (played by Alwin Pulinckx) bursts into his life, and love falls from the sky. But Arthur seems to have some doubts about his sexual orientation, which causes Maarten some headaches and leads to arguments. Additionally, a third party invades the world of Molly and Teun.
