Coming from a poor background but with a strong personality, the new female lawyer Wakaba Nagagawa (played by Yui Aragaki) is assigned by her female boss, Sakurakawa Nobuko (played by Hiroko Yakushimaru), to take care of her 5-year-old daughter, Sakurakawa Hinata (played by Kanna Hashimoto), on her first day of work. As a result, Wakaba has to manage Hinata's schedule, where she meets a popular single dad among the kids, Sota Yamada (played by Ryo Nishikido). Due to a previous misunderstanding, Wakaba has had a bad impression of Sota. However, as they go through a series of events together, she gradually discovers that Sota is a responsible, mild-tempered, home-loving man.
