Afterward, Zeng Yong is captured by the security team and taken to prison, where he is coerced into confessing to the crime of robbery and murder. 'The Man with Seven Faces' is an action-adventure film with a storyline that highlights the main character Jiang David playing multiple roles, showcasing his remarkable transformations. This film is directed by Bao Xueli, who is from Jiangsu, born in Nanjing in 1936, and moved to Taiwan in 1949. In his youth, he balanced work and study, attending classes at a vocational school during the day while working at a film processing factory in Taiwan at night. After graduating, he worked in the Taiwan film industry for six years as an assistant cameraman. In 1967, he officially joined Shaw Brothers Studio as a cameraman for three years, mainly filming works by Yue Feng and Zhang Che. He became a director in 1970, with his first movie being 'The Shadowless Man'. Following that, he co-directed several films with Zhang Che. In 1977, he left Shaw Brothers and returned to Taiwan, creating martial arts films for companies like Yan Sheng's alongside his wife Jin Shumei, forming the Yufeng Company, with most of their works being husband-director and wife-writer collaborations, with major works including 'Ten Thousand Arrows Piercing Heart', 'Taxi Driver', and 'Private 2'.
