Emma and David have been married for seven years, taking care of two children together. Emma hesitated to continue being a hired killer because of her family; she loved her family dearly. However, Bob hoped they could work together, and in a moment of desperation, Emma killed Bob to save herself. The next day, Emma claimed to be on a business trip away from home. As the police investigated the hotel murder, David had to accept questioning. The police revealed his wife's true identity to him, and he discovered a box at home containing his wife's secrets. David deeply loved Emma and hoped they could face everything together. He went to Germany alone in hopes of uncovering the truth. Emma wanted her family to change their identities and live in a different country to escape the police and the organization, but unbeknownst to her, the organization had already found them. After a fight, the couple was taken away by the organization. When Emma woke up, she found that her entire family had been captured. Her adoptive mother wanted her to abandon her roles as 'wife' and 'mother' and return to being a killer, even ordering her to kill David to end everything. Emma pretended to agree, but ultimately led David to fight back and rescue their two children, reuniting the family in the end.
