Clumsy Larry (played by Larry The Cable Guy) has just gone through the worst day of his life. Extremely depressed, Larry decides to invite his neighbor Bill (played by Bill Engvall) and his childhood friend Everett (played by DJ Qualls) to go out and drink away their sorrows, hoping to relax over the weekend. Just as the 'idiot trio' are enjoying their drinks, they are mistakenly identified by an officer as AWOL soldiers and bizarrely sent onto a plane, prepared to be deployed to the battlefield in Iraq. Even more absurd, the 'idiot trio' is mistakenly airdropped into a strange town in Mexico, and the three believe they are in the Middle East, deciding to make a big splash. The local warlord Carlos Santana (played by Danny Trejo) is brutal and a menace to the people. By sheer coincidence, the 'idiot trio' accidentally rescues besieged villagers from a group of robbers. Suddenly, the three become the heroes in the hearts of the townspeople.
