In a nameless small town, the underground water suddenly became contaminated by a mysterious substance, which in turn polluted the town's drinking water. The villagers unknowingly drank the contaminated water and soon mutated into bloodthirsty zombies. They bite anyone they see, and those who are bitten soon become zombies themselves. Jim, a young boy from the town, escaped this fate because he usually drinks soda, but his mother became infected. He desperately tried to escape with his baby sister and eventually was saved by a local police officer (played by Roy Dupuis). The officer tried to find his daughter, but she had already turned into a zombie, yet he remained loyal to her. Meanwhile, the relevant authorities completely blocked news of the situation and sent in two twin female assassins to the town to eliminate anyone who had knowledge of the events. The atmosphere of terror continued to spread, with fewer and fewer survivors and the struggle for survival becoming increasingly difficult...
