Detective Ango Ishikawa (played by Shun Oguri) of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's First Investigative Division is a man who feels deeply empty and lonely inside. This turning point in his life made him secretly long for cases to arise. However, this time, while patrolling the usual area, he was shot in the head by a mysterious person. Fortunately, Ishikawa ultimately survived the brink of death. One night, a family of three was brutally murdered, and Ishikawa, who had just returned to work, rushed to the scene with his superior Takashi Ichikura (played by Kenichi Endo) and colleague Yuma Tachibana (played by Takahiro Aoki).
