Belonging to two completely opposing factions of good and evil, the angel Aziraphale (played by Michael Sheen) has developed an extraordinary rapport and friendship with the demon Crowley (played by David Tennant) over their six-thousand-year relationship. Both influence the development of the human world within their respective duties, complementing each other with great understanding. Since successfully preventing the apocalypse, Aziraphale and Crowley have enjoyed a brief period of peaceful and comfortable living. However, one day, an unexpected visitor intrudes upon Aziraphale's bookstore, heralding the emergence of a new crisis.
