The martial world has always been rife with conflicts. Ever since the Heavenly Master (played by Cao Dahua) created the immensely powerful Rulai Divine Palm, various sects in the martial world have been eyeing it with greed. Tired of the disturbances, the Master passed on the Rulai Divine Palm and the Fire Cloud Battle Suit to his disciple Gu Hanhun (played by Wan Ziliang) before passing away peacefully. From then on, Gu Hanhun proclaimed himself the Fire Cloud Evil God and rampaged through the martial world, leading to a great calamity. Fast forward twenty years, Gu Hanhun has long since retired, but one day he saves the young man Long Jianfei (played by Er Dongsheng) who was pushed down a cliff by his master due to his romance with the master's daughter (played by Yu Anan). Gu Hanhun imparts all his knowledge to Long Jianfei, allows him to don the Fire Cloud Battle Suit, and represent the Fire Cloud Evil God as he returns to the martial world. Thus, peace in the martial world is once again shattered!
