Synopsis

During the warlord era, five young men and women - Feiyan (played by Li Manyun), Jiang Huan (played by Guan Zhibin), Chen Shaojin (played by Zhang Junhan), Hanyu (played by Ji Li), and Yemei (played by Xu Wenxuan) - find themselves in the desolate, dilapidated, and eerie Wuzhen. The town exudes a lifeless atmosphere, devoid of any vitality. They arrive at their destination, the Baijia Tavern, where they check in. The rundown tavern is already empty, and a painting of a bride in a red veil hangs inside, around which a tragic and horrifying story once unfolded. It is said that wherever the painting appears, a mirror ghost also emerges, signaling impending death. Late at night, the young men and women, unable to sleep, unknowingly break the taboo of not looking into mirrors at midnight, and death lurks nearby as they are about to experience a terrifying ordeal...
