The wealthy scion Zhou Tong (played by Sam Hui) is skilled in martial arts and bullies others everywhere, while his sister Zhou Ji (played by Ng Man-tat) is also quite unruly. Their mother, Tai Jun (played by Kok Siu-wah), has always wished for them to settle down and start families. However, on Zhou Ji's wedding night, her husband Lin Jia Sheng (played by Anthony Wong) cannot bear her and runs away. Since then, Tai Jun has been so upset that she cannot eat or drink.
