 Synopsis
Liang Shanbo (played by Zheng Yuling) and Zhu Yingtai (played by Maggie Cheung) are like sisters, extremely close to each other, and they rely on collecting rent for a living. Aben (played by Pan Zhenwei) is a tenant in their home, and one day, he suddenly dies under mysterious circumstances. Liang Shanbo and her boyfriend Zhuang Shuai (played by Chan Baichang) begin to suspect the cause of Aben's death. A man named Sam (played by Lin Junxian) claims to be Aben's brother and takes away Aben's belongings.The killer, Big Python (played by Han Yisheng), kidnaps Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai, demanding they hand over Aben's belongings. Fortunately, Sam and Zhuang Shuai arrive just in time to rescue the two vulnerable women. Inspector Xu (played by Guan Mingyu) finds Liang Shanbo and the others, demanding they hand over a mysterious jade pendant. It turns out that Inspector Xu is the real murderer of Aben, while Sam's true identity is that of a detective investigating the entire incident.
