Jack (played by Ivo Pietzcker) lives a dependent life with his brother and their mother, who is extremely irresponsible. After working during the day, their mother dresses up and goes out to seek entertainment, leaving all the responsibility for her brother on Jack alone. Jack harbors a strong hostility towards his mother’s frequently changing boyfriends, and the relationship between mother and son is very fragile. One day, Jack's brother unfortunately gets burned, and the social welfare agency orders the mother to send one of the two children to an orphanage. The mother chooses to send Jack. In the orphanage, Jack constantly thinks about and worries for his mother and brother. Finally, after successfully escaping, he returns home, only to find that their mother has disappeared, leaving his brother behind. With his brother in tow, Jack embarks on a dangerous and uncertain journey to find their mother.
