During the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, the Chinese and North Korean armies conducted joint operations, delivering a severe blow to the 'United Nations Forces' led by the U.S. In the war, our army needed to send thousands of tons of military supplies to the front lines every day. In addition to road transport, railway transport became the most important means of transportation. The U.S. troops occupying Korea were unwilling to accept defeat on the battlefield and dispatched numerous aircraft to bomb our railway lines indiscriminately, implementing what was called a 'strangling campaign.' In accordance with Commander Peng Dehuai's orders, Liang Junying, the commander of the Sino-Korean Joint Railway Transport Command, led the valiant soldiers of the Volunteer Army on the transport front. They displayed a fearless revolutionary spirit, quickly building bridges, repairing railways, and transporting supplies in the '317' area, which was filled with bombs and landmines. They fought valiantly against the enemy, ensuring the smooth operation of railway transport, making it a truly 'indestructible and unbreakable steel transport line.'
