Due to the poor harvest in his hometown, the young Zheng Chaokan (played by Bruce Lee) follows his uncle to Thailand. With the help of local Chinese worker Xu Jian (played by Tian Jun), Zheng secures a job at an ice factory. Xu Jian is known for his righteousness and often gets involved in fights. Although Zheng Chaokan learns martial arts, he refrains from fighting due to his mother's warnings. The ice factory where the Chinese workers are employed is involved in drug trafficking by hiding drugs in the ice. Soon, two Chinese workers accidentally find drugs in the ice and are murdered by the factory manager and owner. Xu Jian demands justice from the boss, only to be brutally killed by hired thugs in his home. The workers search for the missing Chinese workers and Xu Jian but find no leads, leading them to strike in protest. The factory manager and foremen violently beat the workers, and Zheng Chaokan stands up for justice. The manager, fearing Zheng's actions, promotes him to a leadership position, with the workers calling Zheng 'Brother Tangshan.' The owner, realizing he cannot win over Zheng Chaokan, kills all the Chinese workers. Zheng Chaokan storms into the owner's home, seeking vengeance for the bloodshed...
