 Synopsis
Ma Rulong (played by Zheng Danrui) is an experienced, sharp, and capable inspector. One day, he meets Julia (played by Kwan Kwan) at a class reunion, the girl he once secretly loved. At that moment, Julia is beautiful and charming, even more so than before, while their former classmate Ma Youyou has unexpectedly become Julia's superior, making Ma Rulong envious. Unexpectedly, that night, Ma Youyou is assassinated by a hitman named Peter (played by Li Peter) who had been lurking in his home, and Julia is the only eyewitness. Afterward, the major crimes unit, where Ma Rulong works, takes on the case. Ma Rulong goes undercover at the company where Ma Youyou worked to investigate the details of the incident. Shi Jin (played by Li Zixiong) is Ma Rulong's nemesis in the police force, and coincidentally, he has been assigned to protect Julia.
