 Synopsis
The small-time thug "Bone Dragon" (played by Jacky Cheung) relies on his mother (played by Roland) for companionship. After a car accident, Bone Dragon is detained by the old loan shark "Millennium Bug" (played by Lee Siu-Hung). Fortunately, his mother's acting skills help him escape. The mother and son, heavily in debt, frequently have to put on acts to avoid their creditors. One day, Dragon Mother wins a horse race, and while Bone Dragon is collecting the winnings, he encounters the creditor who is killed by a rival. Unintentionally, he discovers where the creditor hid his money and narrowly escapes. Meanwhile, Millennium Bug takes him under 24/7 protection as a key witness in the case. Having only seen the killer's back, Bone Dragon contemplates stealing the hidden gold from the crime scene. However, he can't bear to leave when he meets Millennium Bug's pure and lovely daughter. On the other hand, the killer, following Millennium Bug's published information, tracks down Bone Dragon and his mother, prompting the duo to join forces against the assailant.
